1. Introduction and Scope of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether individually or on behalf of an entity, contractor, or business) and LK Deals, governing your access to and purchase of electrical supplies, switchgear, LED luminaires, cabling, tools, and appliances through our online store and physical trade counter.

If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.

3.1 Authenticity Guarantee: LK Deals supplies 100% genuine, factory-certified electrical products sourced directly from authorized manufacturers and licensed Sri Lankan distributors (including Orange Electric, Schneider Electric, ACL Cables, Kelani Cables, DIMO, Chint, Hager, and DeWalt).

3.2 Technical Specifications: While we endeavor to maintain strict technical accuracy in all voltage ratings, breaking capacities (kA), IP ratings, and wire gauge specifications, manufacturer production variations may occasionally occur. Technical diagrams and dimensional data are provided for standard reference.

3.3 Pricing & Currency: All prices displayed on lkdeals.lk are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR / Rs.) and include applicable statutory indirect taxes unless expressly stated on formal B2B export or BOQ invoices. We reserve the right to correct typographical pricing errors before order fulfillment.

4. Ordering, Verification & Order Acceptance

4.1 Order Placement: An order placed through our digital checkout represents an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when LK Deals confirms the dispatch of your goods via SMS, email notification, or WhatsApp order verification.

4.2 Verification Procedures: To prevent fraudulent orders and ensure accurate delivery, our operations desk may contact first-time customers or high-value order recipients via telephone (077 622 5188) before dispatch. Unverified or unreachable contact details may result in order hold or cancellation.

4.3 Order Cancellation: Customers may cancel standard stock orders free of charge prior to warehouse packaging and courier handover. Custom-cut cable lengths, customized distribution boards, and special-order switchgear cannot be canceled once fabrication or cutting has commenced.

5. Payment Methods & Financial Security

LK Deals provides multiple safe payment channels to facilitate smooth procurement for homeowners and trade professionals:

• Direct Bank Transfer / Online Deposit: Payments made directly into our authorized bank accounts (Commercial Bank / Sampath Bank under account name LK Deals). Orders are released upon electronic confirmation or receipt upload.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for islandwide courier shipments up to eligible value limits. Customers must prepare the exact invoice balance for the delivery courier.
• Credit / Debit Card Online Payments: Processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways with 256-bit SSL encryption. We do not store credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

6. Islandwide Shipping, Weight Calculation & Delivery

6.1 Delivery Timeframes: Standard islandwide courier delivery is typically completed within 1 to 3 business days for major urban centers and 2 to 4 business days for outstation regional locations following dispatch.

6.2 Weight-Based Courier Policy: Standard courier delivery applies a base rate up to 1.0 kg, with an incremental rate per additional kilogram, capped at a maximum courier threshold of 10.0 kg per consignment.

6.3 Heavy Cargo & Bulk BOQ Logistics: For industrial orders exceeding 10.0 kg (e.g. heavy cable drums, bulk switchgear enclosures, conduit bundles), specialized freight or dedicated transport is arranged with the customer through our logistics desk.

6.4 Transit Inspection: Customers are required to inspect the exterior condition of the parcel prior to acknowledging receipt from the delivery agent. Any transit damage or packaging tampering must be recorded with the courier and reported to LK Deals within 24 hours.

7. Manufacturer Warranty & Genuine Guarantee

7.1 Official Warranty Terms: All brand products supplied by LK Deals carry genuine manufacturer warranties covering manufacturing defects, internal component failures, and electrical performance standards:

• LED Lighting & Luminaires: 1 Year to 3 Years official replacement warranty (depending on brand specifications).
• Circuit Breakers, MCBs, RCCBs & SPDs: Official manufacturer warranty against tripping defects and mechanical mechanism failure.
• Wiring Cables & Flexible Cords: Certified 99.9% pure copper SLS / BS standards compliance with factory guarantee.
• Power Tools & Equipment: 6 Months to 1 Year manufacturer warranty for armatures, motors, and electronic switch modules.

7.2 Warranty Claim Process: Warranty claims can be submitted at our Kandana showroom or dispatched via courier with the original invoice. Verified defective items are repaired or replaced under manufacturer policy.

8. Professional Installation & Electrical Safety Disclaimer

LK Deals is a supplier of certified equipment and shall not be held liable for property damages, equipment burnout, or personal injury resulting from improper installation, undersized conductor selection, phase reversal, incorrect torque on terminals, or unauthorized product modifications.

9. Returns, Replacements & Refund Policy

9.1 Return Window: Customers may request an exchange or return for uninstalled, sealed, and undamaged goods within 7 days of delivery receipt.

9.2 Return Conditions: Returned merchandise must be in original condition, complete with factory packaging, manuals, accessories, and accompanied by the original purchase invoice.

9.3 Non-Returnable Items: The following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

• Custom-cut cables or conduits tailored to customer-specified lengths.
• Custom-assembled distribution boards or populated panel enclosures.
• Items showing signs of electrical installation, burnt terminals, or mechanical mounting marks.

9.4 Refunds: Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method or bank account within 3 to 5 business days following technical inspection of the returned goods.

10. Contractor, Commercial & Wholesale BOQ Orders

10.1 Quotation Validity: Formal contractor estimates and project Bill of Quantities (BOQ) price quotations issued by LK Deals remain valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue, subject to manufacturer raw material index adjustments (such as LME Copper and polymer pricing).

10.2 Project Sizing Advice: Technical calculations, panel sizing recommendations, and surge protection advice provided by our engineering team are offered in good faith to assist contractors. Final engineering verification remains the responsibility of the project consultant or supervising engineer.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Sri Lankan law, LK Deals and its proprietors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, downtime, or commercial project delays arising out of or related to product supply or website use.

Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim arising under these terms shall in no event exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions and any separate commercial agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 09 of 2003 and the Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006.

Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms that cannot be resolved amicably through mutual consultation shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sri Lanka.
